Tripadvisor review: Emerald Bay Sunset Wine & Cheese - Romance on the Lake

I surprised my wife with this on our honeymoon. It was everything I hoped for and more. She absolutely loved it. The captain was so friendly and accommodating. The boat was gorgeous. The sunset was majestic. The wine and cheeseboard from Cork & More were delicious. He gave us all kinds of fun facts as he took us around the lake and gave us a little tour of vikingsholm. It was the highlight of our trip and we would definitely book it again!

I took the four hour trip with Captain Bryan and Karen - a wonderful experience. They are very knowledgeable about Lake Tahoe's history and geography and will take you to various coves and sights to maximize your experience. We stopped at a secluded beach for a picnic and stopped at some historical sights which highlight the history of this beautiful spot. Highly recommended!

I went on the Grateful Red in late Spring and had a BLAST. Karen and Bryan are so knowledgable
about Lake Tahoe and had great recommendations on what to do on and off the lake. The boat is cool, bright red, you can't miss it. Ride was very smooth and they even had blankets for when I got cold!

Had the most fun taking a morning ride around the lake. Beautiful boat, lots of history and information and the lake and environs. My husband and I are seniors and it was such a blast. Delicious box lunch provided and multiple stops for photos. We were all taking pictures, it was that gorgeous. Can’t see all this lake has to offer any other way. Want to do it again !!!!!! Special treat!!!

A very fun two hours. Nice way to see the lake. And fast. The captain and his wife were very nice and gracious. The boat is awesome.

Truly an incredible and outstanding experience!!!
We had an AMAZING time and saw many of the "must-see" spots of the lake on the crystal blue water of Lake Tahoe and finished with one of the top fireworks shows in the nation. The entire experience from booking to finale was done with kindness, preparation, and love from our hosts. We are so grateful to you both!!!
